Geographical Guess
Pick a place you’ve visited; others ask yes/no questions to pinpoint the location.
How to Play
- 1Each participant secretly chooses a real place they’ve been.
- 2Others ask yes/no questions (hemisphere, language, climate, etc.).
- 3Keep it moving; reveal after 10 questions or a correct guess.
Facilitator Guide
Opening Script:
"Pick a place you’ve visited. Others will ask yes/no questions to locate it—aim to guess within 10 questions."
Closing Script:
"What clue types were most effective? Use that structure for future discovery interviews."
Why This Works
A bounded mystery encourages concise questioning and deduction, while sharing travel stories builds rapport.
Best For
- Small hybrid groups
- Interview skills warm‑up
- 5–10 minute fillers
Important Notes
- No pressure to reveal precise personal addresses—keep it broad
- Rotate who asks first to balance airtime
- Timebox each round
